THE CHASEY FAMILY

If you haven’t heard of this family, that’s your own fault.

THE (FABULOUS) FLINT CHASEY

Art Fight Character ID: 4034116Flint Cashel Chasey is one of the most powerful rock alters in history. He’s also the richest. And prettiest. And he's single, ladies! Don't concern yourself over the dozens of magazines that keep track of all of the girls Flint has been seen in public with- he loves you! Yes, you specifically!Eugh! Woah- where did that come from? This isn't a relationship status post! Uh… anyway…Flint is set to inherit one of the most prestigious and richest family empires in America- the Chasey family empire, to be exact. Ever since the platinum rush of 1845, the Chasey family was a force to be reckoned with. They are the founders of powerhouse companies like Chasey Oil, Chasey Steel, and Chasey Jewelers, just to name the obvious ones. By some estimates, over half of all construction west of the Mississippi was either built by Chasey labor or built with Chasey materials. They had single handedly turned a dusty little town in Nevada into the gambling capital of the world, and made railway tunnels through the mountains that could rival the great architects of Rome. The modern-day Chasey family has done nothing but become bigger and better than the generations before. Flint is the proud son of Cyrus and Amber Chasey, all of his older siblings are successful in their own, less than Flint way, and Flint himself lives a perfect life- because he's perfect.Flint is full of himself. He feels entitled to pretty much everything (given the family empire and all), but he’s also charismatic and witty. While he can also be incredibly stupid, the things that he’s learned from his family's relationships and how they run their companies has helped him get this far in life, so he's not that far gone. But Flint knows better- no, he knows he's best. He looks at everyone else in the group as poor, defenseless people who need his help. Why else would he ever so generously volunteer himself to join the gang?Flint, due to equal parts his incredible personality and his lineage, has one of the most powerful rock alter abilities known to man. Flint is able to manipulate both rocks and gems with ease- the only caveat being that he has to hold a piece of it in his hand. When he's not practicing, performing, or studying his rock abilities, Flint can be found at nearly every Chasey function, from his mother's business meetings to his father's fancy parties. He can do it all- a Chasey never does anything halfway. He also has brand deals, sponsorships, and many, many fans. Out of all of the women in Flint's life, his fans are dead set on shipping Flint with Kelly Heartstone, a rock alter from an equally pretentious (and nearly as rich) family. However, Flint doesn't seem to be as on board with the idea of dating Kelly as she is with dating him.Flint has a seven step night care routine (not to be confused with his twelve step morning care routine) and his own line of skin and hair care products, which he advertises frequently. In fact, if you use promo code FLINT25, you get 25% off your purchase!

Note: All versions of Flint are equally perfect, but his marketing team insisted he switch up his style from time to time.

THE CHARMING CYRUS CHASEY

Art Fight Character ID: 6095751Cyrus learned early on to never do anything halfway. That’s what his father Fillmore always told him. He's grandiose in character- not only wanting to see things through, but also see those things go to the absolute max. There’s plans for new office headquarters? Make that three offices! Want him to jump off the second story balcony into the pool? Oh wait- there he is on the roof in a speedo. You'd think that when he became a business major in college, he would push his academics to the limit to be the best he could, right? Wrong. Business classwork felt easy to him- most of his dad's lessons in how to run a business stuck. He already felt like he was always ready to be the next Mr. Chasey. So, he found other ways of making the most of his time; Cyrus was out on the town nearly every night. At some point, however, Cyrus realized something. His mother had already passed, and his father was getting older. Deep down, Cyrus knew he was missing something. So, during college, he found his other half- Amber De Monte. The years went on, and by the time Cyrus and Amber had a few kids running around the mansion, his life as a father wasn’t as… grand as he hoped. His children had promising futures- Dustin developed Cyrus' own powers (he would make a fantastic rockball quarterback) and Selenite had Amber's powers (she could inherit her mother's business quite well). However, Micah didn't have strong powers at all (Cyrus might just have to make Micah book smart rather than strong, which isn't really in his wheelhouse). None of Cyrus' kids were even a little bit stronger than him and his wife. How can a family thrive when there isn't a strong rock alter to lead it after they’re retired?Fillmore, in his last few years on earth, was noticing how Cyrus viewed the life set out in front of him. He knew that if Cyrus raised his kids the way Cyrus wanted to, none of them would be able to be the head of the family. So, he pulled his son off to the side and told him that Cyrus needed to raise a true heir to the family.Cyrus couldn't agree more.

THE AMAZING AMBER CHASEY

Art Fight Character ID: 6095837Amber Du Monte came from a prestigious family herself. As an extremely talented jewelry craftswoman, the future Mrs. Chasey had already made a name for herself with a huge jewelry empire of her own- one that rivaled (or more accurately complimented) the Chasey’s fashion scene. By the time she graduated high school, Amber was flying between Paris and New York City weekly.Even though Cyrus did do well in all his college business classes (on paper, at least), Amber actually studied business. When the two married, she became the one to embody the respected side of Fillmore Chasey. Poised, controlled, and in charge.Amber wanted everything to be perfect, even if her hands were off the table. If something couldn't function without her being there, then it wasn't working hard enough. Besides, she had a jewelry empire of her own- she couldn't afford to divide all of her time to everything that happened in the Chasey businesses. All the while, the Chasey’s were raising six children. Each of the children brought something unique to the world, but none shook the nation quite like Flint Chasey. He was born with incredibly strong powers (more powerful than his siblings or his parents). Amber believed, with enough training and schooling, if her son could control abilities of that magnitude, he would also have the mental fortitude necessary to control the entire family empire. He would be collected, pristine, and shining like her, able to be the leader the family was waiting for.

IMPROVING ON PERFECTION

Words cannot begin to describe how much and how little Flint has changed in the past few years. On the one hand, once he got his signature blue, there was no going back. On the other, he’s changed from a delirious daredevil idiot to a clever charmer who thinks he’s too good for his own brain.Fun fact: when I first thought of him, the coat he has on was supposed to be an old bathrobe he found in a dumpster. (When I find that picture, I’ll put it in here)
